Coaches' Statement: Galway vs Wexford Youths

This Saturday, April 21, Galway WFC take on reigning Women's National League Champions Wexford Youths. This will surely be a tough match as each team looks to continue their winning streak.

Billy and Maz have released the following statement as the match draws closer:

"After a frustrating encounter in Kilkenny last weekend, it was nice to get 3 points on the board. Wexford come into this game unbeaten and we're sure they will be full of confidence, and rightly so as they continue to prove such a threat going forward. We look to build on last week's result and believe if we start converting some of the chances we create we'll drastically improve our league position. We look to build a strong squad going forward and with 5 players making their first appearances in the WNL in our first three games, things are looking up."

Galway take on Wexford Youths at Eamonn Deacy Park, kick off at 6pm.
