On Saturday, Galway WFC travel to Dublin to take on top-of-the-league Peamount United at Greenogue, kick off at 6:30pm.
Billy and Maz have reflected on last week's loss to Wexford, and have issued the following statement ahead of Saturday's match:
"After another frustrating encounter and no points to show for it, we need to put that game behind us and prepare for what will be a very tough encounter against Peamount this weekend. We can still take a lot of positives from the Wexford game; at times, we played some great football and had a higher percentage of the possession, but we're still finding it hard to score goals. We’ve worked hard this week on attacking play, so hopefully we can take this into the Peamount game. Peamount are currently unbeaten this season and looking like the strongest team in the league so far, so we know we are in for a tough test in Greenogue on Saturday. We also are fully aware that we can beat any team in this league, and that's the attitude we're bringing into Saturday's game."
